    Default Minnows in Ottawa?

Does anybody know of a good place to get minnows in or near Ottawa? I am familiar with Green Acres (I think that's the name) by Pomona but looking for a place closer to Ottawa or Garnett. I found Cedar Creek Outfitters in Garnett but their offering is pretty dismal. Thanks!

I am not aware of any bait shops in Ottawa or Garnett. The closest I can think of would be Green Acres out at Pomona lake or the Shell station off of I-35 at the south Gardner exit.

If my memory serves me correctly they are selling a dozen for $2.50 or a pound for $25.

I have not fished Council Grove so I am not sure what the options for bait are up that way. I do plan on making it up that way this fall so if you find a good place to buy bait please post the location!

Here's a list of Kansas Bait Dealers from the KDWPT website. I'm not sure how up to date it is. You should probably contact them before going to the store. Not all may carry minnows. http://kdwpt.state.ks.us/news/conten...ler_071213.pdf The Kansas Certified Bait Dealers page can be found here.
