My dad and I are rookies at walleye fishing so we had Shane take us to El Dorado last night. Not only did he put us on the fish, he also taught us a lot. I've been with guides in the past that want to get you your fish and then get off the water. Shane's not like that. He shared how he fishes and what works best. Everything from how to use electronics , trolling motor, lures, down to the type of line he uses. I know I will catch more fish just from going with him. If you've ever thought about hiring a guide, I highly recommend him. You can see the pictures on the El Dorado thread. Thanks again Shane.

Yes he does do a good job. He does other lakes also. He will even sell you his boat if you like it!

Yep, I was hesitant to hire a guide for El Dorado thinking that I would not have much to learn. Shane is a great guy to fish with who can put you on the fish and tell you the how and why that they are there. Do yourself a favor and give him a try for 1/2 or a full day.
