Thanks for the report.I've been in your shoes, the lake can definitely throw you some curve balls, but will always lobe you a couple good ones sooner or later.
A trip to El Dorado isn't really complete without catching a drum.... and now white perch.

Looked all over the place and zero'd on the walleyes
but on the plus side the wipers were willing to play.
I think we hooked up with a couple walleye but lost them shortly after. Lost count on the wipers but the biggest one was almost 25in. Trolling for wipers, only a couple of them still had the hook in there mouth after we netted them, most had the hooks on the outside of there mouths. You could feel the fish knocking around the crankbait until they grabbed it good or snagged themselves. Trying to figure out if we needed to speed up or slow down to provoke them to take the crankbait better. Most of the time we were trolling around 2-2.5mph. Any suggestions???
