Tuff to remain cool

Fishing yesterday and I marked a school of wipers and threw out a marker then I anchored pretty close to it. All was fine catching nice fish when a guy starts trolling around me with his 115 hp motor in a circle only 30 ft from my boat. I keep my cool and still catching nice fish and he is catching nothing. So around and around he goes. So he starts getting closer, so I finely asked if he could give me some space as there are fish all over and he does not need to get this close to my boat as I am casting. He tells me I do not own the lake and calls me a few names. I answer he is right and would he like a rattle trap in his ear. He mutters something and then drives off. He completed ruined the fishing as trolling with his big motor scared off the fish and I had to move and was lucky enough to find the fish again. We all have these stories but it amazes me that there are such stupid people in this world. If he would of asked I would of gave him the lure I was using. I gave 2 lures away to 2 guys later that evening and even gave up my spot to them. My arms were tired from catching so many nice wipers. I love those fish even caught them on topwater.

We all want to get PO'ed when that happens and when I was younger would have been in his boat with a paddle. As I've gotten older have figured out I'm the one irritated and upset so I just let it go. The best thing was he didn't catch anything from your spot. Like you I have given lures to people along with the advice on how to use them when they are courteous.

What would be cool is craft a cannon looking devise out of pvc, make it look real then when one of these jerks does that pretend to load a light a false fuse might get there attention. Or maybe put a shot over the bow with a potato gun, coarse that might be grounds for an assault charge.

Roman Candle. I happen to also know a bottle rocket shot through a stick of conduit is pretty accurate. Too bad they are illegal in this state.
