    Default Bobber Stops

Have any of you found a bobber stop that will not hang up inside a closed face reel? I use Zebco 44's that are set up with electric motors to reel in the line, since my left hand does not work, after surviving a stroke 8 years ago.

Are you using them as line markers or bobber stops?

Captain Dan I bowfish some and zebco has a 808 closed faced reel that has a different spool and the opening in the front of the reel is much larger. This is because of the fishing cord that we use. I have one if you want to look at it.

Boss, I have several of the PTH450's that I use for cat fishing. They work great, but are way to heavy and overkill for crappie fishing. I've landed 50+ pound blue cats with them. They have enough power to lift 50 pounds straight up.
