We enjoyed the weather today. Hit the lake fishing with my new boat for the first time. I was marking crappie in the 7-10' range but got no bites. Decided to fish for easier stuff since it was my daughters first fishing trip. Got loads of white bass, 8 largemouth, 4 smallies, and a channel cat. My 2.5 yr old got plum wore out from reeling in fish. She is recooperating right now. It was a beautiful day to be on the lake.

glad you got her into them yous guys that get to fish weekends better get the knives sharp and old fish out of freezers they could be flockin to the banks buy the weekend it's bout time for limitsville??

Please post photos of that deal! If you have any. Always awesome to see the smile on a kid's face holding a fish up! I have my first kiddo on the way, getting here in August...the wife doesn't want to find out if it's gonna be pink camo or regular camo in the house which should be pretty exciting. I'm sure we'll be dragging the new little one out to the lake all the time next summer. I can't wait to get a pole in it's hands and the baby's not even here yet!

good idea my oldest was born in may she was bout 10 weeks when she went on her first boat ride the younest was born in dec she was a little older
