Whatever.......
Cooooold out there this evening. Water temp 41.4f. Trolled multiple depths, speeds, cranks, tried likely staging areas. All i got was some very cold toes....
Spoke to a couple of guys that have been out on multiple days and No joy. Only fish I could find that I even think were walleye were laying close to the bottom in 45fow. Tried for crappie also and zippo......
Well I will try again tomorrow

Thanks for the report, This year is really screwy weather wise. No wonder the wally's can't figure it out.
Presently ready to go again but the wind and weather are really crappy right now here. Been glassing the dam quite a bit today and no one out I have seen as of yet.
You now know why I quite fishing the Walleye spawn 5 years ago...
It's not duck season so I have to do something... :D

I don't blame you for quitting fishing the walleye spawn. Every year I don't plan to get out, but usually find myself fishing along the dam once or twice this time of year. (So far this year I haven't been out) Typically, the weather will be really nice, the wind will be very very strong, and i'll have the fishing bug, so one of the few options i have is to walleye fish from the bank. Usually I don't go enough to figure them out, but some years I've gone very frequently and still couldn't figure them out, and end up zero out, just as many times as not, but I have caught some dandies mostly by luck.![]()
Looked at the wind for the week and its looking really good for fishing which means its lookong bad for work and sleep
We hit Milford last nite, little cold on the hands but managed three nice 19 " males. Be out there tonite also.
