I have 3 energizer batteries that came with my boat. They are 875 cranking amps. Haven't had any problems with them in the past couple years. They were made in 07.

Walmart batteries for me. Don't be afraid to get a deep cycle for your starting battery either. They will crank your motor over fine and last longer if your running fish finders, livewell, radio and any other things.

I have always used either walmart batteries or cabelas batteries and had zero problems with either one. Providing you take care of them, almost any brand of battery will serve you well. The problem comes from either not keeping enough water in them or not charging them properly or both.
