[Crappie Chatt]

Three reports in one! Ramps open but a lot of ice floating. Ima sure it's soon to be frozen as surface temps in the mid 30's. Crappies were bitin slow, close to the bottom in 20ft. I caught a few but I just can't enlarge them enought to even take a picture. Now Art,,, or should I say, "King of de Docks" was draggin them in every time I looked over. I threatin to push him in to get his spot but Ima thinkin there was a little more going on than just the spot. He hooked a 13in + crappie, several keepers, white bass and then to top it off this 20in saugeye. Wind was tough on the dock but still there was a few boats out. I'll be back with renewed box of the correct jigs. Ima learnin??? <*)}}}><

Art Usaully catches 2-4 fish to everyone I catch.
He was using a 30" ice rod with 2# mono with a1/16 oz tube jig today.
I have watched and learned from this "young 80 year old" fisherman.

Great pics and report...I've heard Art is legend at the docks...and he can definitely teach all of us a thing or two....even the Chattster!!!
