Default where can i learn how to use the fish finder?

I am posting here because I am in Kansas overland park and wish to learn form someone local. first of all I read alot of article and watch lots of video. it all teach you how to read a fish finder but my real problem is that how do we use the data? for example, while I fish at la cygne, I know the coordinates of the sunken bridge and I use my fish finder with GPS to go to the viewpoint. Then I look for underwater structure and try to located the place. When I found something that I think it is the bridge and then I don't know what to do next..... The problem is that by the time i see the "structure", my boat is not on the structure any more. How to I can anyone here give me any advice?

P/S: sorry for the broken english, I am not a native english speaker.

We have a sticky on our SC page called depth finder interpretations. I have found it very helpful.
