    Default White Perch at Wilson

I am going to Wilson next week Dec. 12-16 to fish for stripers( which Crappiedoc is going to help me on) and I saw on the website they talked about white perch. What is this white perch? I have caught yellow perch in MN but not a white perch. Any fishing reports from Wilson? Anybody want to meet at Linda's in Lucas for a cold one? Will be there Thursday-Sunday.

    Note

ALERT! It is illegal to possess live white perch (KAR 115-18-10)

What do I do if I find white perch?

If you find white perch, do not release the fish back into the water. If you catch a white perch at a location other than where they have been previously captured (list above), freeze it in a sealed plastic bag, note the date and location, and call the Emporia Research Office at (620) 342-0658 or email the Aquatic Nuisance Species Coordinator.

    This info from here.

That was a good article but I do not like fishing 45 ft deep, not my style of fishing.

Looks like Coopers in the background, and by the angle, that puts him off Lucas. Ya like that Joe? Just like your old friend pic, those piles aren't to far apart but I'm guessing the west one. But 45' into 60' is the dam side of Lucas. Another tidbit of info, the planers have been out in full force. The couple stripers I've cleaned have had 8"+/- white perch in their bellies. This one will get me a chewin', MM's been on the roadbed and mainlake every time I see him. Sorry Charlie

Doc, why do your posts always seem to have some kind of secret code in them?
