    Default Walleye brethern

Need some advice. Wanting to get some spoons for x-mas. Any recommendations or do many of you even use spoons to walleye fish? I thought I'd try it since I never have. Tackle boxes are full of cranks and jig heads, thought I'd start filling it with something else!

Can't go wrong with various weights and colors of cast masters. Plain ole chrome is my go to most of the time. Various weights and colors of lead 'mouse' or slab spoons wouldn't hurt either. Got to have spoons in the fall and winter. Have done well in the past on small 1/4 ounce slabs for crappie through the ice. One lure that has produced for me through the ice is the jigging rapala. Won't find these on the shelves here in Ks but they can be ordered on line.

    Default Great Deals on Lures

Don't know exactly what they have for spoons, but I've found a lot of great deals on fishing lures at Discount Fishing Tackle
They have pretty impressive sales if you sign up for their e-mail specials, etc.

For instance, this weekend they have a deal with about $60 worth of lures retail price for only $9.99 plus $2.50 shipping.
