I am not sure about leaving the business card but surely you could understand why the guy might be frustrated. He is in the stand on a long sit getting close to what might be the best time of the day when he is most likely to see some movement only to see a couple of bodies walking up which I am sure all could agree would extremely limit his chance of success. If you did see his truck you must have known he was bow hunting and since you did not know where he was you risked spoiling it for him by walking in. I am not suggesting he is entitled to the entire area but you should use the same judgement you wish others would use before walking in. Hunting public ground provides everyone with access to land to hunt but along with that comes frustration. It won't take too many experieinces like that and he will come to the same conclusion you did. I don't want this to sound like I am sticking up for this guy because I am not but I can certainly understand where the frustration would come from.
