I agree. Go early and go far been working for over 30 years for me.
Rest of this story is the boy hasn't wanted to go deer hunting this season. Think it really bothered him, he's 14, killed his first deer at 9, first year he hasn't wanted to go.

I'm sure its a bad idea, but I've been keeping my eyes open for that truck. Figure I'd feel better after a little "conversation". Haven't seen it again. Woods have been really full, just watched a party of eight come out of the woods just north of this spot.
