    Default Crow & Predator Season

Of course this is the time of year that things start getting super busy and super fun. Absolutely addicted to crows and predators. Both are very smart and very tough. On your XX-Full choked shotgun a holographic sight dramatically improves rapid acquisition and well worth the money....just my opinion.

If you haven't tried hunting predators & crows, you should......very humbling

If anyone is ever interested pm.......always fun and spectacular misses

I love crow hunting. We'll have to get together sometime and go after them. Have you ever tried using decoys for them?

I make my own crow decoys.....one 12ga shell at a time.... I do put out an owl decoy but not really sure if matters this time of year. In Feb time frame I have found it works well with crow/owl fighting sounds.

When ever you are ready. I have some really good areas, as long as the wind is not jamming it up....like outside right now. This morning was good as I sat up on their feeding area and worked them as the came in.....against the wind....really slow flying ground speed.

The XX-full choke (coyote choke) lets you take cheap #8 walmart shells and bring the pain. They just fold right up and dirt nap it in.

Also for waterfowl guys.....great spot in the back of Curtis Creek on Milford.....corn stubble and water access area. Lots of ducks and geese

looks like lots of fun. Have you ever waited for the crows to land and then pick 'em off, or do you usually take 'em down when in range?
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

My callin buddy and I've been puttin the hurt on the yotes already. Do you or have you tried callin coons? Friday afternoon was a pretty good day. Called a couple of triples and several doubles out of the den trees. Managed taking six large ones total. Just one yesterday out of at least a half dozen seen.
