I received a pm this afternoon, not one of those daily notes, but one of substance, life, and His glory and grace. In my entire life I've always cherished the fellowship we outdoorsman kindle to one another. Some guys we'll just tell all, while others we are kind of reserved. This one sets me back to a course of my original intentions, which I have been steering towards, only now a more visionable aspect. You see, when I started fishing my father himself was a greenie, as children my brother and I caught on more quickly and we were further tutored by one, if not the best fisherman of all times. Somehow my father lost us in our quest for the sport, we were addicted, he was just a guy who did it to pass time.

This pm rekindled my passion for teaching, something I enjoyed whether it was from a coaching standpoint or classroom, even Sunday school. I enjoy helping those who desire to learn. Some from this board have become friends of mine, ones I'll help along with their quest. I remember my beginnings, we shadowed this ole fart and drove him nuts. I haven't seen John in a few years, I became friends with him and shared spots to and fro. Then there's Robert, a man who could fill a 5 gallon bucket while fishing a 5 gallon bucket, a preacher, though he wouldn't admit it, only a layman. Robert has taught more tourney grade fisherman directly or indirectly than anyone in this state. He is a pioneer, one of the originals, these are some mighty big shoes to fill, only my best will I offer

Thanks for reading, that pm really warmed my heart. I never realized how Blessed I Am Doc
