Wilson Lake Guide needed

I hunt upland birds near Wilson lake and stay in Lucas but with the low bird numbers I was thinking of pulling the boat and fishing Wilson lake for strippers. I have never caught a striper and since this is so close I would give it a try. Guide recommendations or any help would be appreciated.

I dont know if he is still guiding but a guy that went by the name "Mad Jack" used to guide on Wilson and he was really good from what I heard. I am not in that area any longer so I am not sure if he is still guiding or not.

If nothing else, give Roberta and Terry a call at the marina. 785.658.2392. Great people! They should know what direction to steer you. Terry knows a little bit about those stripers as well. Just look in that marina.

Jack's been out of business a couple years at least. Zeepo, shoot me a pm before your trip, I just might be able to help. If you really want a guide, I know a couple different guys that could possibly help.
