Skunked again...oh well

Took off for 1/2 the day and put the boat on the lake. I mainly stuck to the cove where I launched and drift fished with jigs under a bobber. I was out there about 4 hours or so. Tried different depths but it was a big No Go. I saw fish on the finder and made many passes over them, it looked like they were 12-18ft deep. I did however see a couple of GI's pull in a stringer of cats during the time drifting back and forth. The lake has really cooled down, fairly constant temps of about 62-63F. It seems the lake has come up about 2ft or more also. I did make a run up the lake and it was on par with how Milford gets when the winds come up. I plan to fish this weekend but I am going to skip the mornings and let it warm up a little then fish the afternoon till after dark to see if that improves things.

North winds/cold fronts can be brutal for fishing at Milford! good job sticking with it though!

Sounds like you made a pretty good effort. Too bad it didn't pan out.
