It's about a 3 hour drive for us so it's nice to get favorable information. We went to Coffey County lake (Wolfcreek) on Monday and 3 of us caught 60 smallies but most were small.

While I was crappie fishing with a minnow under a slip bobber and while jigging a tube jig the smb and lgmouth would not leave me alone! I caught and released a couple of dozen with several in the 16 - 18 inch range! They seem to be everywhere, brush, rocks, trees, deep and shallow it didn't matter they were there and biting!
