Might try the improved clinch knot. I've never had any trouble with palomar knots not holding with Fireline, but have never used nanofil.

Is anybody using the new Nanofil line from Berkley? I picked some up last month while I was in Colorado and spooled it on my new crappie rod but I'm having trouble with my knots not holding? I use a "palomar" knot 99% of the time but it doesn't seem to hold with this new "super" line...any suggestions?
Thank you in advance,
Joe

I use Nanofil and use a double Palomar knot.
I was at Cabela's working beside Steve Pennaz from Know Wars and North American Fishing Club and we were tying all kinds of knots with the nanofil and the strongest one like BlackDog40 said was the double Palmar knot. Very easy to tie and works great...
I use it on my ultralight pole that I throw a 1/32 oz jig on a tiny balsa float. It's my go-to rig for spawners!
Strong line, long casts.
What they said, double palomar.
I am just pullin' your leg.:D
