Glen Elder update

Mike and I drove around to all the boats ramps last eveing. All four boat ramps are open and cleaned up. They are looking really nice. Carr Creek is now open the big logs have been removed and the camping area in all mowed. You can get a boat in there real easy. Schoen Cove was really nice. Big area all mowed the water is high enough that it is easy to launch a boat there. to drive to Schoen Cove go across the dam to K road. Turn right to 150 road turn right or south go straight to the boat ramp. There is a restroom at this boat ramp. Walnut is open and since the water is high it is real easy to launch there too.
To drive to Walnut go across Dam to second corner turn right go about 2 miles then turn south. Should be signs saysing Walnut Creek.

We had fishermen in the past few days they caught some nice white bass. The whites are now surfaceing.
Don't know how the crappie fishing has been. No one has said lately. I'll check with my neighbor as he goes everyday.

They have camp ground 3 open with electrity at the state park. Have great fishing experience this weekend where ever you fish. Happy 4th of July.
