Decided to go to Perry Lake Saturday afternoon and no storms on the radar. Fishing was hot off a main lake small cove/point. 1:9 keeper ratio, but a fish on every cast from the shoreline. I had 8 on the stringer and saw some dark clouds rolling in, so let the fish go and got the heck out of there. Here tornado warning on radio in Topeka and saw the funnel cloud hovering over Topeka's eastside. Decided to stay put on highway 24 and saw the wall cloud move right over the Perry Lake dam. Went home to find hail damage on house and other car. See picure below.

Got some hail damage to my truck also. Not a big deal, compared to what they are dealing with in Joplin, it's nothing. So far, two friends have lost their homes but all are safe.
