They'll always be road runners to me. It's like saying, "Make a Xerox" instead of "Make a copy."

I saw "Pony Head" (Guntersville Alabama Area) in the early 60's before I saw Mr. Blakemores Road Runners in the late 60's ... Does anyone know when Blakemore started makinig them ??

No not really, but I can tell you they got the Trademark in the 1990's sometime and I just don't have that year in my memory right now.

I don't think they were protected until the Campbells (Tru Trn) bought it out .
Could be wrong as the one before may have done it ..

I dont think the origianal had any protection on it (the original is the one I am talking about he sold out and the next one used his name as they bought the company and all, as to the best of my knowlage(SP) )).

The original had Blakemore Mfg & Blakemore Sales ... Woul load his vehicle up and travel all over the US.
