Default Show off your Tying stations!

This may have already been done but we used to do the same thing when I raced online, snap a few pics of your "office". I dont tie jigs but may start in the near future and its a great way to see other tyers organization skills and setup.

I got a full basement, and mine takes up the whole basement. Do a search on Mancaves. You should find a few on there.

I haven't been able to teach him to tie jigs yet...very short attention span I guess.

I have taken some pics before so will try to show as much as I can, but all my powder paint is not in this room. These are taken from different sides.

Yep Skip I think has us all beat. Mine is more radio and computer equipment than tying.LoLs Have to have my entertainment along with tying up those Crappie jigs. I have to be in constant communications with all my fellow hams through out the world. Lot of the time I listen to the BBC world service.

Well I know lots of guys don't believe me when I say that I put all my sales back into materials and usually I add some from my pocket too so more than I sell, LOL! When I say hobby that is exactly what this is and very addictive too so when my OCD kicks in how know what I will buy. I keep thinking I should sell some especially to the hair extension ladies. I do kind of worry what my wife would do if something happened to me.

I can't even tell you how many capes and saddles I have, but it's a bunch and includes some hens too.

Skip With the price of those hair extension feathers. You have to wonder. Us old guys have to start to make a exit plan of some sort for our wives. I know that I don't want to burden my wife with all the junk that I have!! Know that I will be around for a while but there will become a day.

It some times becomes a question also of how much is enough? How long will I really want to do this? Would like to think that I will last forever but I know that is a dream. But with shaky hands and eyes that aren't getting any younger or better that day is coming.

I have always said a want to check out 5 minutes after my last friend is gone and I have spent my last nickle.

Redman, don't get me wound up. What I will one day leave behind isn't so bad, but the fact of loosing what few people I care about is a subject I have a hard time with. Too much time looking through the windshield. My Wife is a yard sale and flea market junkie so I know that any excess will be dealt with. Someone told me when I was in my early 20's that I finished this life with enough true friends to fill one hand that I would be a fortunate man. I don't want to be the last to go. They mean too much to me.
