When you work with strands of marabou, how do you keep them neat ?Do you use a hair stacker?I can make a big mess with them.

Tie them in before you cut them off.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

There's a couple of ways to tie in marabou and different types of marabou. I use 1 or 2 marabou fluffs on jigs less than 1/16th - #6 hook. Cut to length then tie down. Really depends on what affect/action you are looking for.

like turning a dry page on a book only with your left hand cut and tie.

I'm with Fish on this one tie them in and use a soft loop of thread then if you need to pull on the stem to shorten you can.
