    Anybody looking at vises I would check out Griffins. I just upgraded to one and love it

    I upgraded to a Griffen Odyssey Spider vise, from all the suggestions here. For large jigs with 7/0 hooks, it suits me very well...........Thanks all.

    I think they make a fine vise. I have 2 different types of vises both made by other Mfg., but I think lots of them are pretty good if you are spending a little more than the bottom of the line. Each has things that may appeal to one while another may want a different type and lots of time that will make a big difference.

    I do like a cam jaw and a true rotary or better.
