Free deer hide

I took a set of deer antlers in to my taxidermist a couple months back...while there, I asked if they could save me any fur scraps from what ever they mount for tying jigs. I was asking for / wanting was some scraps from furbearers, like 'coon, coyote, etc.....

What I got was deer hide - lots of deer hide (they keep all the furbearer scraps for fixing mounts ) .....anyway - I now have a bumper crop of deer hide - mostly upper chest cavity & back - stuff that they didn't use when they were doing shoulder mounts.

All of it is commerically tanned and natural color. I ask nothing for this - way more than I can use. If you are interested - send me a PM - I will send you a PM w/ my snail mail address, then you send me a self-stamped/addressed envelope, and when I get it, you'll get a hunk. Best put 2-3 oz. worth of postage on your envelope - also suggest it be at least 5x7". The hunks will be sized based on demand - but am thinking at least 4x4".

wow sounds like you got lucky i called around to deer prosessers trying to see if i could buy buck tails and had no luck

still after calling around to about 15 places i couldnt get anything lol and i was trying to pay btw poeple who spin deer hair that back hair is what ya want
