Now isnt this going just a little to far to add eyes to you jigs
The I-1000 Automatic Eye Dotting Machine dispenses microdots for painting eyes on lures and jigs of all sizes. The foot pedal control releases each dot, freeing up both hands. The dots dispensed are extremely uniform. Three variables determine eye size: (1) Dispensing time; (2) Dispensing pressure; and (3) Needle size. Dispensing time and pressure are adjustable on the front of the unit. The needles and syringes are disposable to cut down on clean up time.
The complete I-1000 unit comes with needle storage, syringe holder, syringe adapter, 30 cc syringes (12), needle evaluation kit, grounded foot pedal and quick connect air hose. The unit requires a minimum air compression of 20 psi. Additional syringes and needles are available in a wide range of sizes.

be interesting to see how many eye's one syringe full could paint i would guess some where around 3 or 4 thousand not to mention how long it would take. Just think it could possibly be my next full time job, 8 hours aday paint dots on lead
I just paint mine with acrylic or vinyl. More acrylic than vinyl as the vinyl will get to stringing on you and that just makes a little line of that color where you don't want it, but I do use it in some cases.
Just buy your self a cheap set of drill bits that have a flat butt end and use one two times the size for the first color and then half that size for the black pupil. After it dries enough just coat over it with sally Henson's hard as nails. Now if I am coating over FL Yellow or Chart I like to coat over with clear vinyl as it will not change the colors of the painted jig head and the fingernail polish will.
Get the Acrylic for Walmart and make sure it is outdoor paint in their craft section. You can paint a lot of eyes with a small bottle.

we use that to do duracolor on jewlery where i work works great but yeah a little to much for simple eyes lol
I looked in to buying one but the price I got was just over a 1000. so I just keep doing the the old fashion way. It would take me 10,000 jigs to just make it pay for itself plus the tube and dotter are not reusable so you need to be ready to do a 1000 at a time to keep the cost down
Thats why I'm looking at the Powder water to see if it'll work for making eyes.
