you are just to generous havent caught a fish yet this year and they look like some mighty fine fryers to me can smell them cooking now Hmm Hmm Good.

How did you get all the hair to stick up like that on the Jig I like that colors are right for this area as well. May have to try and make my own

It is a "wooly booger", or my version of it. Skip can explain it a lot better than I can, but basicaly you use chenille, hackle, and thread twisted together before wrapping the body. I got an instructional video from BPS. Can't recall the title, but it had to do with bass bugs. Anyway, it is real easy to tie.

You tie in the tail and before you add the chenille you tie in a hackle feather (I like the saddle hackle for this) and then tie in your chenille body. Then the hackle should be palmered to the head (wrap it forward to the head) and then tie it all off.

Nice mess of fish, nice bugger jig!!! Doc if still photo's make it easier you can get the basics at Fly Anglers online Fly Anglers OnLine, Your Complete Internet Flyfishing Resource. go to the tying section and click on beginning tying. Then look for the bugger.

I really think jig tyers need to take a basic tying class it really helps. I pretty much learned by do it yourself tying jigs and after moving to VT took up fly fishing and took tying lessons definately helped my jig tying.
