All I can say is don't read the pony head or Roadrunner threads. Why try to make personal remarks at people that are only trying to help. If you don't get that then there is no help.

No it's not a pony head jig trademarks cost depending on who you know and if you'd look there's a bait out that in My oppinion is better any way called the swormning hornet you can buy plain head's and I don't think BPS would carry them if they thought they'ed get sued personally I figure when mine hits the market people will throw all their R-N-R's away!

Well good luck, but don't see people throwing their RR's away. It is established and been that way for a long time. They catch fish and that is what counts.

As for the Sworming hornet, I am not all that impressed with it, but that is just me. However BPS carried the Stump Jumpers all the way until that guy lost is ability to make them and then Blakemore started supplying them to BPS.

Okay just to settle everything down on the Sworming hornet style head, when we originally had the big thread about RR's and what was legal and what was not I posted that a bass pro had come up with a head style but I no longer had the issue that it was in.

Well the original design of the Sworming Hornet was challenged by TTI. This apparently is the final outcome but I'd bet dollars that some money is being sent TTI's way, as the saltwater style use's a 90degree bend hook.

If I really need to I'll get with some of the guys on another board and try to get the article.

Looks like they are getting around by not using a 90 degree hook to me or at least it look like it's on a 45 degree bend.

The majority of the time, when the subject of RRs comes up it ends up with the trademark issue.

You should understand that when people talk on here about pony heads I feel it needs to be said that there are problems if not buying them from Blakemore. I feel it important that people can get hurt over this stuff.

Look at it like this....Blakemore is a sponsor of this site and people on this site are trying to find ways to beat the system and do things that they should not be doing with out a huge risk Not sure why so many here seem to be so against one of the companies that make this board possible.

As far as if I could help you with anything relating to jig tying, I don't know that answer to that and I really doubt that you know that answer either.

It seemed that you were saying I was the one beating a dead horse every time pony heads are brought up and I just don't see it as a dead horse as long as people post on this public board about them. And the fact that they are breaking the law and should understand the risk they are taking.

As far as this...“If you don't get that then there is no help.” All that means is that if you don't know why I do this then I can't tell you anything that will make any difference to you. If I am wrong then I too apologize, but I think that is exactly why you made your post. It had nothing to add to this thread or help anyone so why make it?

Should I just let people talk about thing that put them selves as well as others in risk? I guess that is a question that can be looked at more than one way, but I can just go about my part and not worry about what trouble they may cause some other poor sole that has no idea they are posting in public forums for all to see.
