Finger Nail Polish

I have yet to find a true "pen" in the fingernail polish. The pen is simply a tube with a brush on the end so I think you might be disappointed. I could be wrong though so I will have to see the next time I am in Wally world. My wife sells AVON so I have my pick of lots of colors. As long as I don't get caught anyway.

As for getting a smooth finish, I use my jig turner to do it and thin it down if I can. With the jig turner I was getting mirror smooth finishes. Is why I want to find the materials to make one that turns 10-30 jigs individually at about 10rpm. I think such a jig turner would work with acrylic and vinyl paint.

When I make jig eyes using nail polish, I let 2-3 drops of polish fall on to a pc of plastic, like the lids for re-useable tubs (ie Cool Whip bowls). Then I use a finishing nail (I grind the heads down to the size I want), dip in the nail polish, and hit the jig head.

The nail polish drys quick, so any more the 2-3 drops is a waste of polish. W/ all the polish colors avail - you can have lots of eye patterns....

I didn't think thats what I saw, so I looked it up again.
They are fine point called nail art pens. thanks for the replies.
Just thought it might work for eyes. Gary

That's really cool then. I haven't seen the nail art pens yet. If it is an actual point it will work for eyes. Will have to take a closer look next time I go in.

cool can't wait to get it. I use clear hard as nails over acrylic paint for my eyes and it seems to work and hold up good,

Hard as Nails works for me too and does a great job penetrating the threads.
(Flat waxed nylon ONLY!!!!)
