Lots of us buy supplies from other guys on here and it would be nice to know who is an honest dealer and who is not. I see it no differently than any other product review we post on here. For example, I bought something from Ship one time and I posted a thread about it telling about how good the product was and how good he was to deal with. I have also posted about my good dealings with Grousefly. These posts were neither attacks nor praise. They were product and service reviews. Fortunately for me and them, they were positive.

I hope this experience does not turn you off to the board or to jig tying. I like having you around and I hope this works out for you.

I think that what Doc is doing is smart. We don't want to get the forum in legal trouble. Posting a name could do just that. I have seen it before and I don't want to see that happen here.

Well JJ my run in with him was before I joined the forum and hoped maybe he had straightened up but guess maybe he hasnt.

Thats understandable. I know stuff like this does'nt happen often here I have ordered from many of the guys on here and have always been happy with the service i have received. I know this is a rare thing here and I'm very happy to see people like Doc helping to keep this site a great place to not just discuss tying but also a site where you can feel safe ordering supplies and doing fun things like the jig swaps. I know I really enjoy it here.I ask that anyone who has something like this happen to them also lets us know however you can without breaking site rules or putting the site in any kind of a bind.

Well said Joe.Ive done business with several people Ive meet through C.C and have been pleased each and every time.If something promised,isnt as advertised,it helps all of us to know we're taking a chance if we do.

This issue appears to be treated very properly..

Doc, all the responses on this thread should tell ya something...... FF, that's quite the generous offer!!

I do remember awhile back some one posting on the main board when they were not happy about a deal that had gone wrong. It got their attention and sounded like the problem did get resolved. - AtticaFish

OK I have read all the messages here and I really appreciate your support and backing on the matter. I was more concerned of being booted from the site here which I really have enjoyed being on. Everyone on here seems to be straight forward and down to earth and willing to give there two cents to help out anyone they can. There are not many sites like this on the web that I have come across, and I know of NO OTHERS that have a Jig Swapping Program, that is pretty unique to CC. and I have enjoyed participating in myself. Didn't want to risk that on a personal attack on another member but from what I have read so far most if not all would not consider that a personal attack but rather a public service for the forum, so I decided to go ahead and post it up and let everyone know who I had the misfortune of having made a deal with. To many I dont think that it will come as a big surprise by some of the messages left.
