Default Another Material You all Might want to try

Just tried some stuff named Congo Hair. Was lookin for a translucent material and this stuff fit the bill. Will post some samples once I have worked with it a little more. Prices are really reasonable also. I also got some stuff called " crazy legs " which is real thin stranded rubber.

They also make some stuff called water silk which looks interesting but I have not ordered any of that yet.

While I'm at it since you all got me started tying. How in the Heck can I STOP?:D

I know darn good an well I tell everyone that ask me that as far as I am concerned it's not cheap to tie. I know how much stuff it out there and the more you want to do the more you buy, LOL!

I always tell everyone that it's addicting and very much so.

I also know that I have made my self enough jigs that I will probably never get the time to try every style and color I have in my boat, LOL!

    Default Samples of Congoes

Ok here are few I tied up with the congo hair. Hope the fish like them as much as I do. Used chennile on the clouser types and minnow heads to give a body to the hook.

The underbody looks good. Can't tell from the pic, does the "Congo" have more sheen than natural hair?

Also, the original Clouser pattern has a flash strip down the middle: Clouser Minnow (The Original)
Do you prefer leaving this out ?

You don't... you just push the pedal to the floor and hold on tight!

I have been using there material for a long time now, and I have mention them on a couple of my posts, They have good material for a good price, The Congo Hair is good but the Water mix is much better.
