Hello all.
I need your help in identifying/finding the material on this jig. It's a Lindy "Quiver Jig".
Lindy's catalog/website says that it is a fine denier nylon. I've no clue as to what that is, or where to find it.
I asked my local materials supplier and he had none, nor knew where to get any.
So does anyone know where I can get my hands on some? -Thanks.

Try FlyTyers Dungeon.com
Just got some "fishhair - 24 denier" from Tacklecraft, looks similar.
For what its worth, some cord and rope is made of denier nylon. There are materials in fabric shops also but unraveling them would be a nightmare. Possible would have some yarns or heavy threads though.
Looks like a glossy fine nylon rope to me.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.
Not trying to be funny but cant you just go buy some cheap
dolls and cut the hair off?
Thats what it looks like to me.
Marabou.
Old wigs work too...
Believe it or not some Dads who are Pike anglers have gotten in trouble over stealing Barbies hair to tie jigs and flies for pike.
Fatman
