Grandpa bob has the new age chenille and prices are reasonable.CABELA'S,BASS PRO,GANDER MOUNTAIN all have chenille and maybe the feathers as well. There's plenty out there, just have to look around to find best price cuz I'm cheep, cheep, cheep.Ya gotta be these days.

Wal-Mart also has guinea feathers or at least my rinky dink one does. They have chenille too but not many colors in the good stuff we use and only a large size.

I have found a lot of good chenille on Ebay in the sewing and crocheting sections. I have never bought it but with a little research you can find the right size from the terminology they use.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

    mudbug -

Not sure about the spotted feathers, but a good source for chenile and many
other materials is Wingaersheek Flies at WFLIES.COM: Home Page -
Got that link from someone on this Forum, don't recall who, but thanks!
I have recently placed two orders with them and was very pleased.
Friendly, very quick shipping, and not one item back-ordered so far.
Mr. John Benchoff will take very good care of you.

I have seen the spotted guinea feathers at Hobby Lobby. They have lots of "stuff" like that!
