I do like it! Picts look great as well, we can pick it apart now............ Ok maybe not, looks too nice. Is it med or ultra chenille? Looks very tight wrap, almost would guess foam or somethin' by the look!

The body kind of reminds me of a sponge. Has anyone ever tied a jig using a sponge body? It would really soak up some attractant. I believe that head color is Blaze Orange.

Nice jig... I'm getting the itch to tie up a bunch for Spring wade fishing. I'll post some pics when I get em done. You know, I read similar statements on this board all the time, and it is so true: jig tying is addictive!!!!!!!!! It's so cool how one can get so much satisfaction from creating your own jig, and then dropping one in the water in anticipation of that thump. The thump!! The tap!! That potentially fatal moment of attraction and deception!! That moment in time in which our quarry, the crappie, holder of our thoughts, our obsession, mistakes our creation of feathers, hair, synthetic, hook, and thread to be something worth eating. But what does our friend, the crappie, see? Or better, yet, what do we think the crappie sees? What goes through his mind? Does he see something similar to what we do? Does he mistake the pulsating action of feather or hair for a tail? The flash of Krystal the reflection of sunlight off of a glancing baitfish? Deception Unmasked.... The jig-tyer's craft.
"Mister, I love the way you wear that hat."
    "You don't know nothin'."
