those are some plastic tubes that I got from work. We package some parts in them and these were some they were throwing away. They are 3/4 & 1 inch in diameter. I just took a wood bit and drilled a hole in a piece of wood and shoved them in.

Those clear tubes kinda look like the tubes that some florescent lights come packaged in.

OK FF46, I like the racks you built, got one in mind to build off your idea, but whats with the girly border on the walls of your tying room?????????

Well, at least you got somewhere to leave your stuff out I guess, gotta pull my stuff out of the closet and sit on the floor with a foot stool in front of me if I want to do anything! Some day I'm gonna finish my basement! :D Yeah, some day..................

One doesn't need a finished basement to tie a jig - you saw the pic I posted of my basement (in the swap thread) - I tie just to the left of the tables I was using to sort the jigs....my vise is attached to a board, c-clamped to my 'work bench' - a euphamism the the pile of cast-off boards and nails I do things on....

That's a cool vise. How and where are you mounting it at.You have been very busy my friend. Now you need a bobbin holder, but I'm sure you have that in the works.I'd like to see this in action.
