Still new on board, but I've noticed you put in your time generously and are respectful of all. If a few members out of thousands have a prob with you, well, we can't please everyone.

The only time everyone will agree on one thing at one time is whe their standing before God,now with that said stay where your at If people want to advertise their stuff let them be a sponser like all other's Myself I don't tie for a living wouldn't want to My Dad was a Master fly tier I could proably make alot of money ,but I get alot more enjoyment ou of giving someone something than I ever would selling it . Some people don't have the gift's or talent's I have but I share them with other's I don't let My feeling's get hurt by a few for there are many! I saw the post you are referring to - the guy who slammed you. I considered making a reply to the guy - but figured that could start a flame war - which would be just as bad as the stuff that fellow said.

Sometime's, no response is the best response - hence I didn't.

I agree w/ the others - stick around. As I told you in a PM a few days back, you and others like you help pay the bills for this site - and the rest of us - me included, free-load on your back / efforts.

Step down as a moderator if that will help - I've done it for other sites/forums - someone is always a un-happy camper, but you will never please everyone - its a thankless job.

Your jigs are great, love your pics. You have a eye and a talent for this.

Please - re-consider.

Skip, I can see how you view the people complaining. I deal with people complaining all the time and do realize that everyone is never going to be pleased. Complainers are complainers, no matter what you do or how fair you try to be, someone is always going to be the complainer. I deal with 1000's of college students each semester. I try to be consistent and fair across the board. When I get a complaint, I usually ignore it to the extent that I know I was only doing my job well and they did not like the rules I was enforcing.

I am sorry to see you step down as a moderator but respect your decision. I am equally as sure that there are more people here that enjoy your posts and comments and the unhappy ones are but a few but you only need one to make it a bad day sometimes.

I have always viewed your responses as constructive and/or being consistent.

Yes you have seen this when this board was new, but we can always count on you to post links to make a point that no one cares about. I know you have never like me as anything and that is just fine.

However it would be nice to see you not follow me around just to question everything I do and post your little jabs like this.

As for Slab, yes he said he didn't put much into the complaint, and wanted me to keep doing what I do, but other things got involved.
