    looking good...but i would put the flashabou in the middle of the marabou/craft fur(not sure witch you used) to hold it in place so its not flopping around

    I think he's tying it in much like a wing in fly tying. I like to use it sparse and have a few strands around the jig's outer tail area, but laying flat with the tail.

    I like em, Mud.

    I specially like the ones on the top. Is that one on the top left one of them pintail jigs? I think I recognize that flank. I also like that long flash on that one on the top right. Nothing wrong with some extra action.

    I shot a limit (first time this season) on the last day of the season, so Imma be tying up some more ducks jigs here soon. I got some really pretty feathers off a drake gadwall that I'm lookin forward to using.

    yes that is pintail feathers.ive also got alot of feathers to use.i got some mallard,pintail,ringneck,and some teal on the way from my buddy.thanks for the compliment crow

    Looking good,especially the duck and the white one with the red collar. I've tied so many ducks this year that I'm starting to walk like one. Crow, those gadwall feathers with their dark barring are killers on crappie and big gills.

    I havn't tied anything on them but I dyed some.I have been working with some gadwalls and mallard feathers to come up with something for a future jig swap.
