Snow day today so she has the day off. If she's interested I'll show her a couple simpler patterns that I tie that don't take so long.Once she gets the simple stuff down she will be better on the knot thing she does.I'm looking at a couple dynakings on ebay and if I get one at a decent price I'll have an extra rotary for her to work with. my 5 year old grandaughter wants me to teach her as well. I think I might have something going here. Three generations under one roof tying would be cool.

JJJ, see if she can incorporate a double crochet into a tie. Should be awesome with 2 colors. I like the overhand knot technique but took me longer than the crochet. I wonder if one could single crochet over the hook shank? Yes I know how to actually crochet but I am much better at the technique for tying jigs than making scarves.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

UPDATE; I asked her this afternoon if I got her a vise would she do some jigs for a swap. She said she would but not with the knots because it take to long.Tonight I just purchased a Dyna-King Voyager II. She asked which one is her's,the Renzetti or the Dyna-King.I told her that depends on how I like the Dyna-King. Looks like the next swap I'll be sending two.
