    Skip,
i have actually been tying for quite awhile. Just new to the forum. Like i said in my original post, these were just some ideas i was throwing around to see what i want to make more of. I posted them to see which ones you guys thought were keepers.

There dual color chenille jigs were intended to have a large body....i've been trying to do some pitching to structure rather than vertical jigging so i tied a large fluffy body on a 1/32 head to get a slower fall rate.

I came across the crystal braid about a year ago and have been tying alot of jigs on darter heads with it. In my opintion with it, a darter head, and the right tail material it does a pretty good job at mimicing a baitfish profile.

    Yes they catch fish

Yes they hold up well...i take pride in my jigs....i take the time while tying to make sure they are durable.

I have seen pictures of your jigs on the texasfishingforum.com...not bad. Thanks for the criticism, i'll put it to use in my future tying.

And by the way i'm in the Dallas/waxahachie texas area....if anyone ever wants to meet up and share ideas or do some fishing.

We all have our own unique tying styles, and its enteresting to see how many varieties of jigs that are really out there. I like Variety pretty or not thats what im talking about yea!Send me a pic or two. Good luck!

wow! it's awesome to have some folks to share ideas with...its not often that you run into people that tie jigs. My apologies if i sounded "jerkish" in my last post...i work nights and you caught me right after i woke up....haha. Been lookin at some of the jigs that ya'll tie, theres some really awesome stuff on here. I have a feeling that ya'll are about to make my tying material bill go through the roof.
