Does anyone else think chartreuse is too effective and makes getting bit too easy?
Um, haha, I think chartreuse is the most effective color, but I don't think any color makes getting bit too easy. In fact I don't think ANYONE can do anything to get bit too easily other than being in the right place at the right time. I tie jigs that really seem to outproduce anything else being fished near me at times (mainly the black/silver/chart. combo) but in general, I don't believe we have that much control over fish... at least anything short of gunpowder or electricity.

Seems like the Crappie want the bright lights and chartreuse is way up there.
For Bluegill and Redear I like the bug colors - dark.
Chartreuse is in my top three,probably my favorite tail color.I've never had it to easy and I can use all the edge I can get.
I wish i could find that magic thing that makes it to easy to get bit.
I suspected most might consider the troos vamoose idea a bit wacky, but didn't think it would be unanimous!
