Default Another Hackle Question (sorry...slow learner)

Guys, sorry to bring this up again, but I am confused about hackle a little bit.

I know we've been over this and I have tried to research as much as I can using the search on this board. The best that I can determine is that yall prefer Strung Hackle for your tails. Right?

If so, here is my problem: Do you use strung Neck hackle or strung Saddle hackle. Also, what is the difference between a neck and a saddle ?

Here is a link to Strung Neck Hackle: FISHING TACKLE for bass fishing, crappie, walleye, trout.Fishing lures, fishing hooks, lead molds. BARLOWS FISHING TACKLE.

Here is a link to Strung Saddle Hackle: FISHING TACKLE for bass fishing, crappie, walleye, trout.Fishing lures, fishing hooks, lead molds. BARLOWS FISHING TACKLE.

So which one is the right one to be using if both are strung hackle? Neck or Saddle?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Neck hackle as it is more webby and better for this. I have used Saddle hackle and it's just not the same. I know some use it still, but better for palmered hackle like on a fly.

The first one, but I have to admit I like mine a bit longer than what they sell. 5" is ok, but 3" is bit small.

There are a couple of places I like better than BPS and one is Barlow's and the other is Bob Marriott's. So at least take a look at them.
