Tried it and yes, turtles do (think) they like crappie jigs. If I actually caught it, my daughter would go nuts!

I use a 35 gal aquarium to see the action. I create waves or flat water and look for myself.

    Thumbs up

Helpfull post! Thank you, Someone mentiond the hair or feathers trapping air. This is a common problem with calf tail jigs first time in the water. Just let it sink a bit and give it a pop. The air will come out. ole Mike

Good tip mike I used calf tail for the swap it was my first time. I like it real easy to work with once you find the right amount to use.

I use my 55 gal aquarium to check my jigs, I even check my crank's action there. Its funny but - I like to see the reaction of my 2 Angel fish, how they react to my jigs-gives me confidence in my stuff...... sometimes they jump right at them and sometimes they keep their distance and just study the jig. Then, the real test ! If they don't produce- I take the razor to them.,I dont like to keep jigs just because they look nice/good. .....I "catch and release".
