    I used flat mylar tinsel (gold one side silver the other) for the tail.
    Chenille of all colors and types for the body.
    Usually kiptail, but sometimes squirrel tail or other hair, topped with flashabou for the wing.

    I paint the heads with vinyl lure paint (slow process) but might try power or acrylic. Any paint recommendations will be appreciated.
