Those look pretty nice. All I can say is not sure about the tail section, may do the twirly bird all the way home. Get it in some water and see what it does, maybe so maybe not. I gave up putting tails on any craw patterns for that reason, they always seemed to spin, and BAD! Heck gave up most all-together cause couldn't get em to look how I wanted anyway.

Those look more realistic than I could do, whats the material?

well the last one has crocheted acrylic yarn for a body craft foam for the tail and parts of the head monofilamant eyes and some craft fur for the claws. I left out the kitchen sink but I thought about it....it is a royal pain in the butt to tie. It will not be something I tie a bunch.......unless the fish just kill it. If so I guess I'll get a perscription for valium and tie them up any way

    :D:D

My 6 yr old daughter just came in and saw your picts. She asked me, "Can you make some that fancy Dad?" Think you got her approval!

No worries about my thread Brim, I like the comparisons for sure. They look good for sure. Probably a little less time than mine take too!

Been thinking about tying some on jig heads under the tail section to get them to stand up in a fighting stance. What size are they?
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.
