We shall call this one the Woven Cap spider
Cap spiders are tied by fly fisherman for bream, It's a pretty easy tie the way some do it. Use chenille for the body on a small jighead and a few rubber legs. Getting the legs to splay correctly is the hardest part. It is hard to tie them in and get them all on the same plane at first, but like anything else practice makes perfect. I just decided to take it another step by weaving the body.
Here is a video YouTube - Tying Michael Verduin's Cap Spider
Unfortunately for you guys in the jig swap, this isn't the one I am tying
Do not fret, I don't believe you will be disappointed. As a matter of fact you can catch a glimpse of the woven Catalpa Worm for the swap in the third picture at the beginning of this post. If there is another Bream swap anytime soon I might just have to make up a few caps.

Will have to try something like that the fish local lake that like to sit under the overhanging trees all day long. A long cane pole quietly pushed out and lower it to the surface and hopefully BLAM!
