    Default hook size

Going to be tying 1/16 and 1/32 oz jigs with sickel hooks. I like these hooks better than the plain ones. What size do you guys use. I thought #4 on the 1/16 and #6 on the 1/32. Or should I just stay with one size??
When ever I shoot docks I allways use the 1/32. I like the sickles because I grab the hook to pull back instead of the head. But is 6 to small. Should I stay with 4's or even use 2's

I personally use the 4 on both sizes. Even use 4 on some 1/24 and 1/8 sometimes.

A MS crappie angler with far more experience than I prefers #2 on 1/32 and #1 on 1/16. Claims the larger hooks hold better.

I agree, when they hook deeper they're not in the paper thin mouth which is always good.
