    They are looking pretty good. Look around in this jig making forum, there are lots of everyday materials you can use to get bye with.

    I'd say always try to use as little thread as you can... less thread, less chance for things to move on ya and unravel once they get wet. Once you get some chenille or other body material, you will find you just don't need all the thread. Put a solid base and then body material on top. That's my preference anyway.

    Those look much better than the first few I made!!!!!!!!!!

    Makes me feel like an idiot....my first jigs were almost unidentifiable...at least the fish would recognize yours and not laugh at them...I think I killed quit a few at first...they laughed so hard underwater they got strangled and floated up to the top...those were my best days crappie fishing...no kidding you are off to a good start...the more you tie the better and more diversified you will become...main thing is have fun...good tying/fishing ..brim
