Who gets Hagen's?

Today I got a cat in the mail, and I mistook for one of my usual CabelasBarlowsJannsBassProStamina catalogs then I read the name "Hagen's". Huh, not bad actually, all the usual spinner blades and forms, jig bodies, floats and such, check it out!

I get it - good stuff in there - but take a close look at the minimum qtys - in most instances its a 100 or a 1000. To go to a smaller qty, you need to add a $1 per item.....

That could get spendy in a hurry. Catalog seems to be oriented toward tackle shops - not fisherman. What the catalog does give me though is ideas....

if you call them and not a business they charge a ton of sur chages and you just cant say you are one you have to have all the numbers to go along

I never had a problem with any surcharges from them but I will say call your orders in!!! and make sure they have everything you want same with Stamina!! Actually the $1 charge to get some smaller items quantities is worth it if you're looking for something.

I use them all the time. I buy 100-250 pieces at a time and the extra$1 makes little difference. An extra $0.01 for each piece beats paying 3x as much retail any day.

Now that they own Larva lace I will buy from them even more.

Have done some business with them for many years and day in day out they are hard to beat ... Like stated before the charges on breaking minimum Qty is not htat bad. Fast Service ...

Ive gotten hagens for a while. Their prices are not really wholesale espically when you add the excise tax. One item they carry i checked is .99ea in bulk if u buy 100 pieces. Direct from the manufacture they item wholsale direct to tackle shops is .79 when you buy 25 pieces. SO they buy in large bulk qtys then sell to the public for less than retail but more than wholesale. And they seem to sell alot of cheap and low quality products. I can get better quality items custom made from ebay for less then hagens many times. Espically when it comes to crappie jigs, some real deals on ebay.
